AI in Zaptiz
What the Zaptiz Assistant, the Daily Briefing and the AI agents do for you, the three rules every one of them follows, and where to find each agent.
Zaptiz Construction has three kinds of AI help. All of them read your projects the way you read them, and none of them can change a record by itself.

The three rules
- It reads only what you can see, as you. Every answer and every agent run reads your records through the same screens you use, with your role and your project membership. A Site Engineer's results never contain rates or amounts, because a Site Engineer cannot read them in the first place. When you cannot read part of what an agent needs, that part is left out and the result says so — it is never estimated.
- It never changes data on its own. Anything the AI wants to create comes back as a draft. A person confirms it, and then the normal approvals still apply: a draft PO still has to be approved and issued, a draft goods receipt still has to be posted, a draft RA bill still has to be submitted and certified. Confirming runs as the person who clicks, with that person's permissions.
- Numbers are computed in code; the AI only explains. Every total, percentage, ageing bucket and risk level comes from fixed rules applied to your records. The AI writes the sentences around those figures. A sentence that quotes a number that was not in the computed facts is thrown away, and if the AI is unavailable you still get the numbers with a plain summary.
A wrong purchase order or RA bill costs real money. Drafting keeps a named person responsible for every record, puts the record's audit trail in that person's name, and runs every check the screen would run when you created it by hand.
Where the agents live
Each agent sits in the workspace its work belongs to. Open Workspaces in the sidebar, choose a hub — Commercial, Procurement, Site, Workforce or Finance — and the agents are in its AI agents section. They also appear under that hub when you expand it in the sidebar.
AI › AI Agents lists every agent you can run in one place, grouped by workspace, with your Recent runs and a Drafts to review button that shows how many drafts are waiting. The Daily Site Briefing has its own page, AI › Daily Briefing.
You see only the agents your role can use and that are switched on for your company. A greyed-out row says why it is not available.

Insight agents and drafting agents
Drafting agents prepare records for you to confirm: the BOQ Generator, Rate Suggestion, Procurement Agent, Invoice & Challan Reader and RA Bill Drafting Assistant. Their drafts appear under the run's result and in Drafts to review.
Insight agents report and create nothing. The Collections Agent writes reminder emails, but only as text for you to send yourself — it sends nothing and creates no record.
How an agent page works
Every agent opens on the same kind of page:
- Run — the inputs it needs (a project, a document, a month), the estimated credits, and Run agent.
- Latest result — your most recent run: a headline, a short summary, key figures, a Needs attention list tagged critical, high, medium, low or info, and tables. Items link to the screen that fixes them; Ask AI opens the Assistant with that item as the question.
- The side column — What it reads, What you get, How it works, Schedule & delivery (or Settings) and Run history.
A run works in the background, so you can leave the page while it runs. Runs start three ways: you click Run agent; a schedule your Company Admin switched on; or you ask the Zaptiz Assistant to run it.
Who can use AI
Every role can use the Assistant and the Daily Briefing. Each agent needs the permission its work needs — the Procurement Agent needs the right to create purchase orders, Cost Overrun Watch needs to see project cost — and each agent's page in this guide lists the roles that can run it. If your role has no AI at all, the AI pages say "Your role does not include the AI assistant." Ask your Company Admin; see Roles and permissions.
