AI credits

Every AI answer, agent run and voice clip uses credits from your company's monthly allowance. See what is left, what uses them, and how to get more.

Who
  • Everyone

Credits are how Zaptiz meters the AI. Your company gets a monthly allowance with its plan, everyone in the company draws from it, and it starts again on the 1st of each month.

What uses creditsโ€‹

  • Each Assistant answer. Answers that check a lot of your data, or read an attached photo or document, use more.
  • Each agent run โ€” when you click Run agent, when the Assistant runs one for you, and every scheduled run.
  • The Daily Briefing โ€” one brief per person, every time it is written, including each scheduled recipient's brief.
  • Voice โ€” each recording turned into text and each answer read aloud.
  • Reading a scanned PDF you attach in the chat. A PDF with selectable text or a text file costs nothing to attach.

Reading results, opening runs, and confirming or cancelling drafts use no credits.

When credits run outโ€‹

Before every answer and every run, Zaptiz checks that enough is left for that job. When it is not, the answer or run does not start, and you see:

Your company has used this month's AI credits. An administrator can request a top-up from Settings โ†’ Billing.

Despite the wording, there is no Billing section under Settings โ€” your Company Admin gets more credits from Administration โ€บ Subscription & Billing, as described below.

The check is per job, so the Assistant may still answer a short question when a large agent such as the BOQ Generator can no longer start. A run that fails part-way is charged only for the AI work it completed.

Scheduled runs keep running

Briefs and agents your Company Admin has scheduled are not stopped by the check, so the balance can dip below zero near the end of a month. If you are close to the limit, switch off schedules you can do without on each agent's page.

Get more creditsโ€‹

Only a Company Admin can change the plan.

  1. Open Company โ€บ Administration and click Subscription & Billing.
  2. Under Plans, each plan shows its AI credits / month. Click Request this plan on one with more.
  3. Choose the months and send the request. The Zaptiz team approves it, and you pay on the same page.

The new allowance applies once your plan changes. For extra credits in the middle of a month, write to support@zaptiz.com.

Spend them wellโ€‹

  • Use one conversation per topic. Each conversation also has its own credit limit; when you see "This conversation has reached its credit limit. Start a new conversation to continue.", click New chat.
  • Read an agent's latest result instead of running it again โ€” open the agent, or ask the Assistant "what did the cash-flow forecast say".
  • Schedule briefs only for the roles that read them. Each recipient's brief is charged separately.
  • Credits do not carry over. What is unused on the last day of the month is gone.
