Rate Suggestion

Fill the blank coefficients in your rate analyses — from your own library first, with an AI suggestion only where the library has none — and accept them analysis by analysis.

A rate analysis with a component still at coefficient 0 gives a wrong rate. This agent finds those blanks and suggests a figure for each, with its source, reasoning and confidence.

What it reads

  • The rate analysis you name, or — if you name none — up to 25 of your analyses, looking for components whose coefficient is 0.
  • Your library: Library-type and template analyses (up to 40), with their components.
  • Each component's resource, unit, wastage and the analysis's output quantity.

What you get

  • The Suggested coefficients table: Analysis, Component, Unit, Coefficient, Source (Library, AI suggestion or No suggestion), Confidence, Reasoning.
  • Key figures: Analyses with gaps, Missing coefficients, From your library, AI suggestions, No suggestion.
  • One draft per analysis, Fill missing coefficients, titled "Fill N coefficient(s) in" and the analysis code.

How a figure is chosen

  1. Your library first. A library analysis is used only when it is in the same unit and its description is at least 60% alike. Inside it, a component matches on the same resource — or, when neither has a resource, on the same unit and a description at least 80% alike.
  2. Scaled to your output. A library figure "per 10 sqm" is converted to your analysis's output quantity before it is suggested.
  3. The AI only for what is left, with its reasoning and a confidence. A figure of zero or below, or too large to store, is thrown away.
  4. An AI suggestion below 50% confidence is flagged: "Check it against a published schedule before accepting."

Suggestions are shown but not drafted for an analysis that is a Library reference ("copy it to change it"), is inactive, or has stale resource rates ("recompute it first").

Run it

  1. In the sidebar, open Workspaces › Commercial and click Rate Suggestion under AI agents.
  2. Leave Rate analysis (optional — otherwise all are scanned) empty to check your analyses, or paste one analysis's ID — the last part of the address when the analysis is open.
  3. Click Run agent.
  4. Read the table. Library rows came from your own figures; AI rows carry their reasoning.
  5. Open each Fill missing coefficients draft, check its Preview, and click Confirm — create draft to apply it, or Cancel.

Safeguards

Confirming edits the analysis

A rate analysis has no draft state, so confirming applies the coefficients to that analysis at once and recomputes its rate. Only the blank coefficients change; every other line stays as it was. BOQs, quotations and bills already priced from the analysis keep the rate they took.

  • If anyone edited the analysis after the run, the confirm is refused rather than overwriting their change. Run the agent again.
  • The AI never overrides a figure your library has.
  • Running it needs rate-analysis access; confirming needs the right to edit rate analyses.

Tips

  • Build your library: every Library or template analysis you keep is a figure the AI is not asked for.
  • Treat AI suggestions as a starting point and check them against CPWD DAR or your own norms.
  • Name the one analysis you are working on for a faster, cheaper run.
  • Rate analysis — where coefficients, wastage and output quantity are set.
  • Resources — the catalogue the components point to.
  • BOQ — lines take their rate from an analysis.
  • Drafts to review — accept or reject each analysis's fills.
